I survived, as did all the kids at school and in the neighborhood. Having these ailments was something of a rite of passage.
Regarding shingles, I've had it already (1990). People who got the chicken pox vaccine are just as vulnerable as those who had the disease in
childhood. Interestingly, re-exposure to chickenpox virus boosts immunity to shingles.
That's the way Nature works. You don't have to like it, just accept it...
