QUORA: Why do Americans keep holding onto an economic system (capitalism) that has historically led to fascism due to its eventual failure in every case?
ANSWERED BY Christian Ramirez, June 5, 2022
HERE, LET ME CORRECT YOU: Why do *Marxists/Leninists/Communists keep holding on to an economic *and governmental system *(Communism) that has historically led to *statism, fascism, *totalitarianism, *starvation, *genocidal massacres due to it's eventual
*and historical failure in every *single case?
There, I corrected it for you. You're welcome.

The historical fact is Capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty and into financial success than any other economic system that has ever been tried.

That's why they hate it so much.

Some people dismiss Correct Historical Information cuz they prefer their beliefs. Waste of times talking to them,

True that, but remember, this is where Critical Theory came from. It's not as innocent as them ignoring facts.

The old school Marxists got frustrated that people seems content and happy in capitalist societies. They just concluded that it was because they really weren't happy, but were brainwashed into thinking they were happy. So the only course of action was to
destroy the social structures that led people to be content with nice things like material goods, food in their bellies, and books to read.

Excellent correction, and you should add Socialism, Progressivism and the endless number of labels that leftists use to camouflage their efforts to replace All systems that support human rights, personal initiative and free markets with a socialist state.

Completely untrue but there is no point in trying to debate. You seem to have neither the intellect nor inclination to determine facts. Without facts there is no debate.

Hahaha stfu with that pathetic “you don't have intellect” bullsh*t.
You're an old leftist plebian with some serious logical comprehension issues. Enjoy your senility gramps.

The Demo “Progresives” hijacked the name of a Real US political party around 1900.
    ------------
    Allan Terry, Jun 22
What are the “progressives” progressing toward? Answer: Destruction of our rights, confiscation of our property, and enslavement of an unarmed populace. They have already achieved much of their agenda.

I suggest you read your own post and ask yourself if any of what you wrote is even slightly true. You don not understand any of this other than spouting slogans.
    -----------
    Steve Shannon, Jun 21
You certainly are entitled to your opinions, but not to your own facts. I suggest that you do some unbiased research. You’ll discover that everything I said, (and say), is true. For starters, get a copy of Robertson’s insider’s expose’ “.
plottokillamerica (.com).” Be prepared to highlight and underline, a lot. Then, try to disprove everything you think is untrue. It may take months, but you’ll never look at American politics, or your current beliefs, the same way, again.

Capitalism depends on a FREE market, that operates openly and freely, unlike socialism or communism. Historically, more people have elevated from poor to middle class, even rich, under capitalism. Only the ruling class enjoys prosperity under socialism
or communism. Everyone else suffers destitution. THAT is an historical fact. -----------

Here’s a list of the “socialist” nations in the world, all have higher living standards than the USA. are Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Great Britain, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, and New
    Zealand.
    ------------
    George M. Zuganelis, Jul 4
You are so very wrong, my friend. Half the countries you listed aren’t truly socialist, but have socialized medicine. That does not make them a socialist economy. The other half is about the same percentage of socialist as America is. Less than 10%.
    -----------
    Bruce Harmsen, Jul 11
Please explain why you consider capitalist countries with good Social Welfare Systems to be Socialist countries. Google lists most Socialist Countries as governed by Communist Parties. Years ago Bernie tried to compare Scandinavia as Socialist with the
USA. The Norwegian foreign minister replied that his country was Capitalist. Notice that Sweden, Denmark, Norway have much smaller populations (10 million or less). Some countries you list have monarchies. So provide some reputable information about
Socialist Countries to support your allegations about these countries & their populations that you mention. Check the early Kibbutz in Israel for actual Socialist communities.
    -------------
    Andrew B., 14h
None of those are Socialist countries. Not a single one mentioned.
    -----------
    Lyle Hutchison, 7h
Please look at my previous post: I referred to them as “socialist” because the “right” love to use the word to discredit them.
    ------------
    Andrew B., 5h
Discredit whom? For one I used to live in Germany and attended German high school. I also studied and speak at a proficient level Dutch and the Scandinavian languages. Those are great places, but very different. I’m not sure why progressives point to
mostly homogeneous, white countries with small populations… Why do you think the living standards are lower in the US? They didn’t used to be, so what policies changed that? 60s and 70s culture shift? Massive illegal immigration, outsourcing of jobs?
Or are you suggesting the US simply got more racist? I’m very curious to hear what happened.
    -----------
    Lyle Hutchison, 5h
In my opinion the political parties spend more time and energy into destroying the social fibers of the country instead of uniting it. I’m envious of your linguistic skills, that’s very impressive, my wife speaks 4 language’s herself. I don’t
think it’s limited to just the states it’s happening across the world. More so in the western world but it’s not limited to the USA. I been fortunate to have traveled with a charity group that has taken me throughout The America’s and Canada and
the USA have lost their way in things like family values, we’re too materialistic. I’ve also been to Asia many times and I think we need to learn about to enjoy life and regain some lost values. There is still a big difference between our countries
but it is only a matter of time that Canada has similar issues. But I don’t think we’ll ever have the gun issues happening in the states. (I’m a gun owner) and spend 37 years in Emergency Services . We aren’t squeaky clean up north and have gun
issues but in part because of illegal guns from your country.

    David Sargee, Jun 28
Just a thought, I'm pretty much in agreement, but do you really think the playing field is level? It is not. The wealthy are the ruling class. It is possible to become wealthy, but not nearly as possible as it was 100 years ago. The larger the income gap
grows, and the elimination of the middle class make it more difficult than than ever to climb from poverty to wealth. Most people that say that don't actually have to do it.
    -------------
    George M. Zuganelis, Jun 28
No one gets wealthy by holding a job. One gets wealthy through real estate investments, and, or a business in today’s America. Or, as I did. I became a lawyer and built a thriving law practice and invested. I had a few girlfriends when I was a young
lawyer, who thought my money was endless. I was blessed, though, with a wife who wasn’t obsessed with spending money.

The gap you refer to may be growing, but only because most people are content to be where they are. I’ve known ghetto kids from the hood, become excellent lawyers. If they can do it, even with all the disadvantages, almost anyone can do it.

The difference between you and me is that I’ve seen people do it, so I believe. You don’t believe.
    -------------
    John Bacon, Jul 12
so how does what we are practicing differ from your definition of life under socialism. Only the ruling class enjoys prosperity. This is what happens in capitalism. At least the type that is practiced today
    ------------
    George M. Zuganelis, Jul 12
With capitalism anyone can better themselves in life. It takes focus, hard work and educating oneself about wealth. Not everyone has the ability or will to do so. That’s a choice an individual makes. He’s not relegated to serfdom like socialists. BUT,
the point is that anyone has the freedom to do so if they choose. Not so in socialist economies.

Let me go one further that should have stated Marxists/Leninists/communists/fascists since they are all very close in ideology. The differences are slight and the actions they’re willing to commit to to make you subject to their rule are all very
    similar.

nice correction. But y did u have to be so nice about it. And sometimes people ( trolls ) that ask those questions have a hard time reading. Pictures would ease the intake of the truth. But alas some people don’t want the truth like most democrats the
only truth is what they believe it to be

I'm amazed someone could ask such a question. All they have to do is look at North and South Korea. Or China and Japan, granted, their case isn't as obvious.
