Tested eyes yesterday with eye chart PDF file I DLed. Bewildering
results. Right eye laser PCO surgery on 2/24/16, left eye not yet.
Measured 20/20 on right eye. Great! Better than I expected! Measured
20/20 on left eye! This is one the eye doctor told me would not pass the
AZ DMV eye test - 20/40 as best as I can discover. This makes no sense.
Should have measured 20/50 or so. The chart looks right, centered on 8/11
sheet of paper, PDF file. I DLed it twice and printed it twice.
Identical. I retested my eyes - different house location and carefully
measured the distance - 10 feet - from the chart. Same results. Could
barely read the 20/20 line as expected so letters are probably right
size. I don't know what's going on and now I wonder if my laser operation really made any difference. Left eye operation scheduled for this
Wednesday. Right eye follow-up at eye doctor Thursday. Can't see DLing
another chart - I expect any error is in printer, not PDF file. I'm
bewildered, not unusual for me.
Any thoughts?
