I was told yesterday that my vision had deteriorated badly in the past two years since my second cataract operation. I was told I would not pass my driver's license renewal eye exam required in AZ. I was told if I had a posterior lens capsule opacification (PCO) procedure in both eyes I would
do so. I made appointments for both eyes.
Anyone else reading here ever get this rather scary diagnosis? If so, how
did work out? I live in the country and would have an extremely difficult time if I couldn't drive. Cab to town $25+ each way which I can't afford.

Last I heard, you get zapped with a YAG laser and the procedure takes
minutes with no downside. Common. I haven't needed it (yet), but my
MIL had it and was surprised at how easy the process was.
