    I submitted my geophysics Ph.D. thesis for examination at the end of January
    so it looks possible that I will finally graduate this spring. After my oral defence, which will probably be around the end of March, I may reduce my medication slightly but won't come off it entirely since it is two sunspot cycles since my worst year of 1996. And for any new readers who haven't
