It appears that there isn't anyone anywhere in the world who knows what the thermoelectric properties of a typical dental amalgam are.

This is because it also appears that the experimental procedures necessary to measure them have never ever been carried out.

In view of the fact that amalgam fillings are placed in children's teeth, I would assert that there is no rational scientific argument which could justify this ignorance.

Does anyone disagree?
