I am working on a project that requires demonstration of image tiling to achieve large projection areas. The idea is we use two projectors (like the ones used in any conference room) and project two images side by side , with some overlap. The
overlapping region has distortion due to brightness/intensity mismatch. This essentially causes a band to appear at the overlap region.
I would like come up with a scheme to detect the amount of overlap (using a camera) and then a calibration method to correct for this. I can then load the pre corrected images individually in the projectors and get the stiched image on the wall.
Does anyone have any experience in this kind of an application? Will be great to get some help on this.
