    ------

    Dear Professor Oliva,

Hope this email finds you well.

I would like to invite you to contribute a full research
paper for the special issue "Entropy in Metaheuristics and
Bioinspired Algorithms", that is currently open in the Entropy
Journal of MDPI. This is an open Access Journal indexed in the
    JCR (IF = 2.419, 2018). A `yes’, `no', or `maybe' response would
    suffice at this stage.

The submission deadline is 30 September 2020 and papers may be
submitted immediately or at any point until 30 September 2020,
as papers will be published on an ongoing basis. For a list of topics
and more information on this Special Issue and submission guidelines,

Here is a short description of the SI.
Entropy is a powerful tool that came to change the analysis of information. The use of entropy has been extended in metaheuristics and bioinspired algorithms from measures the uncertainty until helps to explore and exploit the search spaces. They are different kinds of entropy that are used depending on the implementation. In the era of the information it is necessary the use of metaheuristics and bioinspired methods to provide accurate solutions in complex problems. Hybrid algorithms are also important; they merge the skills from different approaches and make decisions based on different rules to accurately explore the possible solutions. This Special Issue aims to present the latest advances in metaheuristics and bioinspired algorithms that employ, or solve problems related to entropy. Literature reviews and surveys on the related topics are welcome.

We very much look forward to hearing from you back positively.
