Fox News Radio's Todd Starnes reacted to House Minority Leader
Nancy Pelosi ripping President Donald Trump for calling MS-13
gang members "animals."
Pelosi (D-Calif.) said there is a "spark of divinity" in every
person and that by Trump making the remark about other human
beings during a roundtable at the White House calls into
question whether he believes in that ideal.
"I wish that Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats had as much
compassion for the families of those loved ones killed by
illegals on American soil as she does for MS-13," Starnes said
on FBN's "The Evening Edit."
Starnes said Pelosi did not offer such an outcry after fellow
San Franciscan Kate Steinle was murdered by an illegal immigrant
felon.
Elizabeth MacDonald noted that Mexico's Secretary of Foreign
Affairs also criticized Trump for the "animals" remark.
"President Trump referred to some immigrants [as "animals"].
Perhaps he had criminal gangs in mind... In the opinion of the
Mexican government, this is absolutely unacceptable," Luis
Videgaray said, according to MacDonald.
Starnes also dismissed Videgaray's criticism.
