• No Outdoor Sensors

Hello, all. Accuracy discussions aside for the moment, I was wondering
how those inexpensive indoor battery-powered LCD desk displays showing
time, temp and relative humidity are somehow also able to display
outdoor weather conditions in the absence of any outdoor sensor data.
Thanks for your time and comment. Sincerely,

They might be able to guestimate the outside weather if there is a
pressure sensor. Better if it could track the pressure tendency. If
your instrument doesn't have a pressure sensor, any guess at the
outside conditions is just that: a guess, and probably a poor one.

I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow
    isn't looking good, either.
I am BOFH. Resistance is futile. Your network will be assimilated.

Hello, and thank you for replying (you're the only one who did). I
think you're probably correct. Even though there's no numeric display
of ambient air pressure, a pressure sensor would allow for the
equivalent of rain-change-fair markings as used on vintage displays with
    a dial pointer. Sincerely,
