    Yes, that's right.

California democrats, who claimed California would wither away
and die without Interstate 5, now commonly known as I5, wasted
billions of gallons of water in the mountains between Los
Angeles and Bakersfield during the construction of I5.

As the construction of I5 progressed, democrats ignored the
water seepage from the mountains they ripped into to build the
road. The water seepage was so great in numerous places that
the newly built road collapsed, costing millions of of dollars
    in repairs.

The democrat solution was to blow up the mountains and run all
the water off, with no thought to future needs.

They blew holes in the mountains and drove 3" pipes into them,
wasting fresh clean uncontaminated water to the tune of 200,000
    gallons per day.

Bet you won't find those statistics on any democrat campaign ads.
