    My s/w has detected another couple SST blips that line up with NOAA
    updates to the NA LPA map.

    <https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/xgtwo/two_atl_5d0.png>

    The blips over the last 2-3 days warn of a smallish storm on the E
    coast and a larger storm in the C-E Gulf region both in around a week.

    The NOAA has upgraded 2 LPA's in the Atlantic. One of W Africa is now
    a 90% chance of developing within 5d and looks set to hear to the Caribbean.

    The 2nd off the US E coast has a 60% chance of coming to life in the
    next 5 days and doing another close run by NY and points north along
    the coast..

    Nicholas is inland of the TX coast and headed toward LA at a slow 6
    mph dumping plenty of rain. Power out to 1/2 mn customers. LA
    power have just gotten electricity back on to 90% of their
    customers from Ida. The rainfall is also likely to crowd people
    indoors when the covid epidemic is spiking again.
