Clarke Energy Associates of Barbados is pleased to announce that our Principal, Dr. Roland R Clarke CMVP CRE has been recognised as the 2019 Energy Engineer of the Year for the Latin America Region by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Atlanta,
USA.

The award was given "For Outstanding Accomplishments in Promoting the Practices, Principles and Procedures of Energy Engineering."

The ceremony was at the AEE World Energy Conference and Expo held in Washington DC, USA at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on the 24 September 2019.

Our gracious appreciation goes to the AEE for its recognition.

We especially want to thank Dr. Clarke's parents for their loving guidance and support, his three brothers who kept him on his toes, and his dear friends and colleagues in Barbados, the USA, Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America and beyond.

Special thanks to to his educators from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, the University of Reading, UK, and in Barbados to the University of the West Indies at Cave Hill, Harrison College, and the Holy Innocents Mixed School.
