The madness is all Cursitor Doom's and ZeroHedge's.

Climate change is making Australia wetter.

    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-10-06/sydney-breaks-annual-rainfall-record/101506452

There were a lot of floods in 2022, and the insurers had to pay out a
lot of money, and have now raised the cost of flood insurance for
    low-lying suburbs.

Conspiracy theory nuts are feeding on the dissatisfaction this has created.

    It's simple-minded denial of reality.

    That's from

    https://off-guardian.org/

which is a welcome nutty response to the extreme nonsense that streams
    from the Guardian.

If you are as susceptible to fossil fuel extraction industry climate
change denial propaganda as our two leading gullible twits, it might
    look that way.

In reality, the Guardian sticks remarkably closely to the facts, and
    gullible twits don't like it.

They much prefer the fatuous nonsense curated for them by ZeroHedge and

The Guardian is a Left-wing rag, Bill (as you well know). As such it's
chock full of all the climate alarmism the Watermelons love. They've been >busily covering up the cognitive decline of Joe Biden of late - along with >all the other Leftie media sources - but that's going to be extremely
tough to pull off now after last night's revealing performance in the >head-to-head debate with Trump. The man is a fucking basket case and even >though I despise him, it's impossible not to feel desperately sorry for
    him and his wife.

It's hard to find an honest news source these days. Many, like the
Guardian, are predictable leftist propaganda. There are of course bad
    ones on the right too.

The Guardian is actually one of the better news sources. John Larkin
doesn't like it because it doesn't publish the climate change denial
propaganda to which he is addicted.

Propaganda does make itself more palatable to it's target audience by flattering them more or less non-stop, and the Guardian doesn't go in
    for that.

The Guardian is a Left-wing rag, Bill (as you well know).

There are left-wing equivalents of the right-wing extremist media you
fancy, but the Guardian isn't any of them. From any rational point of
view, it's middle of the road.

As such it's chock full of all the climate alarmism the Watermelons love.

It does report the scientific concensus that you have irrationally
    chosen to reject.

    They've been
busily covering up the cognitive decline of Joe Biden of late - along with all the other Leftie media sources - but that's going to be extremely
tough to pull off now after last night's revealing performance in the head-to-head debate with Trump. The man is a fucking basket case and even though I despise him, it's impossible not to feel desperately sorry for
    him and his wife.

He certainly wasn't at his best, and should have a nailed the non-stop
stream of lies that Trump was pushing out. Even the healthiest
81-year-old can catch a bad cold and not be able to perform at his best.

Don't get your hopes too high. Trump might be just as devoted to
irrational delusions as you are, but that doesn't make him attractive
    to the rational majority.

Well, the way I see it, there is one benefit to Usurper Joe making it to November - still a big 'if' that he'll make it - and that is if he 'wins'
again given the condition he's in, even the most obtuse observers will
have it plainly revealed to them that the outcome has been fixed again and 'theory' will become incontrovertible fact: there's no democracy in the
    US.

"Usurper Joe" is a name based on Trump's baseless fantasy that he won
the 2020 election. Cursitor Doom does share Trump's enthusiasm for
    implausible fantasies.

The proposition that US elections can be fixed is another of them. The
US is a decidedly flawed democracy, but the voters do have the final
say, even if moneyed interests are allowed to bombard them with all the misleading propaganda they can afford.

Trump was a disaster as a US president. His hopeless mishandling of the Covid-19 epidemic killed hundreds of thousands of Americans who might
otherwise have survived. Boris Johnson did almost as badly in the UK.

Electing him again would be a mistake, but the US is full of gullible
twits, as John Larkin keeps on reminding us. Cursiotr doom is no less
gullible, but at least he isn't American.
