People who start trillions of dollars worth of businesses can often
get a fraction of the created value as a payoff. Nothing but jealousy
    explains objections to that.

A tech billionaire doesn't consume much more food or air or even
housing than the general population and often does them a lot of good.
Their wealth is mostly pieces of paper or bits spinning on a drive
    somewhere.

You should create something and grift a bit yourself. We won't mind.

Oh, that's so WRONG. The people 'who start' may be good with gab and
smiles on camera, but the people who PAID IN to get things happening
were being ripped off by serving all the greens to the smiley-face.

Then don't pay in and you won't be ripped off.

Elon deserves what his stake in the company amounts to, just like
the other stockholders do. His stake is quite adequately large for >compensation, even if he has to do extra smiles... the judge
will also allow him a bonus as an executive, but... the executive position
is NOT more important financially than stock ownership.

If the shareholders don't want him to have a bonus, he won't get one.
Nothing to get worked up about.
