Meanwhile I have discovered some things:
1. The harddisk bay can indeed be moved to the left and re-attached but it was very difficult to do, see other thread below for tips how to do it properly:
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?threads/msi-prospect-700r-harddisk-bay-can-be-removed-place-elsewhere-solved.390062/
2. The large black shroud has "invisible/secret holes" in the back, which give access to the back of the PC Case/back of motherboard tray, near the power supply.
If moving the harddisk bay to the front it becomes a lot easier to route cables upward through these secret holes at the top of the black shroud, which will feel like bottom exits/entries on the back. Now it kinda makes sense why there is this big DUCT
running across the back... it's probably possible to route some of the USB cables and reset switches and such through this duct, towards the power supply and then up the black shroud invisible/secret holes... to directly/shortly connect to the
motherboard.
The most left/near back of PC case shroud hole/invisible port is "blocked" by the power supply, so it cannot be used, by the middle one as well as the right one can be used, especially the right one can be used if the harddisk bay is moved to the front,
this could be a major advantage to moving the harddisk bay to the front side.
So there is more to it, than just meets the eye at first glance.
Ofcours I have seen builds like this, which have these "magic" holes on the bottom lol... in all the darkness/blackness of this case it's kinda easy to forget or miss it, but one just has to take the time for it, observe the case, take it easy, and take
it all in and find ways to do what you want...
MSI is doing a poor job so far of selling this case properly, but not showing this properly in videos, then again there was this long video, but it was this kinda annoying guy trying to build two systems at the same time... way to confusing for the
average buyer.
Just build one system well, do it well, document it well and more people will buy this case because so far I think it's pretty awesome, but time will tell ! ;)
Bye for now,
Skybuck.
