High frequency sound waves (above about 1 MHz) die off very fast in air. They also cause only a very small index modulation, so getting decent diffraction efficiency requires a long interaction region.
So the diffraction angle will be small.

It follows very closely the sq.rt of the absolute temp value.
Wavelength follows the inverse rule.
