    No analog audio out 3.5 mm connector anymore...

    Not sure I want a Pi5.

    Sort of becomes a multimedia HD player, OK.

    Will wait for user experiences...

    I do have some USB audio sticks for my Pis, stereo out, mike in.

    I do have some USB audio sticks for my Pis, stereo out, mike in.

    Pi started as a hobby/learning tool, and still is big-time, but it has
    also become a serious commercial-product embedded compute unit.

    I think that was accidental, but it's sure become real. There were too
    many short-life weird uP chips with flakey dev tools.

    There will probably be an RP500, as the next-gen dev+debug thing.

    I was going to use a Pi4 in a new product, but could use 5 if it's
    available.

    I want a next-gen Pico now. More memory, some way to do Gbit Ethernet.
