    The original artlcle, on which science daily piece was based, does contain more data. Why didn't you click on the link?

    Nature is a serious scientific journal, and it's content is peer-reviewed to reject quite a bit of noise. I've done enough refereeing to have some idea how much noise gets rejected at that stage.
    Modern authors tend to be pretty relaxed about offering access to their raw data. Sending a data file is a lot easier when you don't have to massage it into a printable format.
