• Why is S.Africa's Arab-spring not acknowledged?

...because it would destroy the beautiful myth of Nelson Mandela
and the rainbow nation ...tra la la ....

    What caused the Arab spring?
Mostly the underlyng demographics, with the newly enabling mobile communications.

What caused the explosive economic expansion in China:
    the greatest in human history?
Mostly the one-child-policy, which allowed investment in properly
educating the resulting generation, who needed education for the
    changing technology.

It was pretty widely acknowledged at the time it took place, about
    1990-1996.

No! The *ARAB'S* arab-spring was some time ago.
As far back as 1990-1996 - surely not?

    But "S.Africa's Arab-spring" is now 2015,2016.....

South Africa's "Arab Spring" was 1990-1994.

The Arabs got in late, about 2010-2011. And it only worked in Tunisia.

The Arabs got in late, about 2010-2011. And it only worked in Tunisia.

    Wrong, superficial analysis:
1976 was closer to Arab-spring; but mobile communications were missing.

1990-1994 was carefully planned after the Berlin wall fell down.
It was the best time to hand over power.
1975 would have been the worst.
Arab-spring means spontaneous uprising; like the current burning of
    libraries and other government property.
