I am referring to those interested in systematics, as I am.
sci.bio.systematics was once a modest but thriving forum for
actual discussion of systematics. Now even the spammers of
solution manuals seem to have abandoned it.
A related newsgroup, sci.bio.paleontology, would be in a
similar sad state, had I not proposed, back in 2010,
to try and revive it. John Harshman seconded that
motion, and one or two others made a commitment to post
to it from time to time.
It was on the brink of extinction when I made that proposal.
It is still on what might be called the "endangered list"
though not critically endangered.
Unfortunately, John Harshman would not join me in a
similar endeavor to revive sci.bio.systematics, since
he uses Giganews to post, and Giganews does not support s.b.s.
So I am fishing for replies from others.
