Director/Senior Director

Responsibilities

Deliver scientific presentations to high level audiences at conferences and other meetings. Plans/conducts clinical research (Phase 3b/4 trials) and provides recommendations to guide senior leadership on Investigator Initiated Trials (IITs) decisions.
Supports R&D organization and other clinical programs, as needed. Supports/leads Medical Affairs cross-functional sub team meetings Provides directed analytics and scientific basis for future development of assigned projects. Creates and manages medical
affairs budget. Keeps abreast of the current literature, therapeutic issues and competitive landscape related to the relevant disease areas of focus. Communicates current and emerging clinical research data to HCPs in response to unsolicited inquiries.
Contributes to the ongoing disease area and product-specific training of internal staff and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications

MD, PhD or PharmD with 5-10 years of experience in the drug development industry. Alternatively, Master's degree in related scientific discipline with 10 plus years of experience and exemplary track record in medical affairs and drug development. Minimum
of 3 years in medical affairs with experience in: Direct management and successful completion of clinical trials, Publications planning and execution Demonstrated success working with key opinion leaders and scientific experts. Desire to help build a
product brand from the ground up and contribute to the success of a new exciting therapy Experience successfully working in a matrix team environment. Demonstrated ability to think strategically, be creative and generate innovative plans for assigned
projects. Ability to multitask, including handling multiple similar and unrelated types of tasks on an ongoing basis. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, including superior oral, written and presentation skills. Strong work ethic with a
'role up my sleeves and get it done' mentality. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
