frozen banana mash? keeping leps in fresh relaxed state for longer peri

Quick question here. I use banana mash to attract certain leps to bait
traps. In order to save money, I was thinking about obtaining the fruit
ahead of time, mixing in the sugar and water, and then immediately
freezing it until I need it. One thawed, the fermentation process would
start. I know someone who does this, but I'm not sure if it can be done
with exclusively bananas. My understand is that, once bananas are
frozen, they never ripen further after that once thawed which would
defeat the purpose of banana mash. I would welcome any thoughts here.
Another question has to do with keeping fresh leps in a relaxed state
for longer. I never have liked the process of keeping them stored and presumably dried in glassine envelopes until ready to mount and then
relaxing them. I prefer to mount them fresh, but lately I haven't had
the time and I have been collecting a large number of leps. I will be
able to get to them within the next 2-3 days, but not now. What's a
good way that I can keep them relaxed until then?
Thank you,
Larz
