    Subject: UPDATE on 14th Annual Annual Mediaglobe User’s Group (MUG) meeting.
    MUG is hosted by Planetarium Director Chris Miller at South Grand Prairie High School’s John C. Pogue Planetarium in Grand Prairie, Texas.


    This MUG meeting promises to be jam-packed with activities and workshops you can use:

    Noted Landscape and All-sky photographer Duke Johnson will be presenting a hands-on workshop on "How to take and process fisheye photos and movies for your planetarium dome."

    Several free and low-cost programs will also be screened including:

    Eclipses and Phases of the Moon by Weber State's Ott Planetarium,

    Weather: Wonders & Mysteries Revealed by Full Dome FX,

    TOTALITY by Bay's Mountain Park Planetarium,

    Out There: The Quest for Extrasolar Worlds by the European Southern Observatory,

    and finally there will a resource session on "Preparing for the mid-September demise of the Cassini Spacecraft",

    All Mediaglobe users are invited as well as other planetarians interested in leaning more about getting the most out of your planetarium.

    There is no conference fee, except that each delegate must bring either a Mediaglobe planetarium program or a PowerPoint on the August 21, 2017 Total Solar Eclipse or a Powerpoint on your facility as the price of admission. Lunches are provided by Magna-
    Tech Electronic Company and Konica Minolta Planetarium Co.

    Dinners will be left at your discretion ..... everyone on their own.
    OPTIONAL EVENING EVENT: Baseball Game on the 2nd of August at 8:05 PM at the home stadium of the TEXAS RANGERS - please let us know if you plan to attend.
