• Finally the Obvious Truth: Nonexpanding Universe

From Pentcho Valev@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jan 30 14:38:36 2022
After a century of blatant fraud, scientists found courage to pronounce the obvious truth:

"The Universe is not expanding at all...the redshift of light with increasing distance must be caused by some other phenomena – something that happens to the light itself as it travels through space." http://sci-news.com/astronomy/science-universe-not-
    expanding-01940.html

Yes, the universe is not expanding. If it were, the competition between expansion and gravitational attraction would distort galaxies and galactic clusters - e.g. fringes only weakly bound by gravity would succumb to expansion and fly away. No
    distortions observed.

The Hubble redshift is due to starlight slowing down as photons bump into vacuum particles:

"Some physicists, however, suggest that there might be one other cosmic factor that could influence the speed of light: quantum vacuum fluctuation. This theory holds that so-called empty spaces in the Universe aren't actually empty - they're teeming with
particles that are just constantly changing from existent to non-existent states. Quantum fluctuations, therefore, could slow down the speed of light." https://www.sciencealert.com/how-much-do-we-really-know-about-the-speed-of-light

In physics, any absurdity entails other absurdities. So the expansion of the universe entails that "the wavelength of photons propagating through the expanding space is stretched" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redshift. Let us consider this:

Richard Feynman: "I want to emphasize that light comes in this form - particles. It is very important to know that light behaves like particles, especially for those of you who have gone to school, where you probably learned something about light
behaving like waves. I'm telling you the way it does behave - like particles. You might say that it's just the photomultiplier that detects light as particles, but no, every instrument that has been designed to be sensitive enough to detect weak light
has always ended up discovering the same thing: light is made of particles." https://www.amazon.com/QED-Strange-Theory-Light-Matter/dp/0691024170

In this text Feynman unwittingly suggests:

    1. The speed of light varies as per Newton.

    2. Variable wavelength of light https://youtube.com/watch?v=xsVxC_NR64M is an unrealistic wave-based concept.

"The wavelength of light is constant for a given emitter" will become the fundamental axiom of future, Einstein-free physics (if it's not too late to resurrect physics).

Sabine Hossenfelder: "The solution of general relativity that describes the expanding universe is a solution on average; it is good only on very large distances. But the solutions that describe galaxies are different - and just don't expand. It's not
that galaxies expand unnoticeably, they just don't. The full solution, then, is both stitched together: Expanding space between non-expanding galaxies." http://backreaction.blogspot.bg/2017/08/you-dont-expand-just-because-universe.html

"Expanding space between non-expanding galaxies" is idiotic, but here part of the idiocy is omitted. What the Einsteinian cosmology actually posits, implicitly, is

"Expanding space between non-expanding galactic clusters."

    Hyper idiotic, isn't it?
