With the imminent arrival of Venus in retrograde motion or, in contemporary terms, the planet passes between the slower-moving Earth and central Sun, a number of issues emerge.

The C3 camera takes a bigger slice of Mercury's orbit than that of Venus as it passes between the moving Earth and the Sun insofar as Venus is closer to us during that period but Venus takes a bigger slice of the orbit when it passes behind the Sun as it
is further away from the Earth during that period.

It doesn't help that this is presented here among a sullen bunch yet there are few options but to post it elsewhere. The resolution of the faster-moving Venus and Mercury has gained acceptance despite the absence of a proper explanation which requires an
entirely different perspective than the slower-moving planets, at least a proper explanation outside this newsgroup, yet I imagine they will eventually get there.
