    I would think that the _obvious_ way to deal with that is to send all-female missions to Mars. *They're* not sex mad like men are.

    Also, once it becomes possible to build ships in space from lunar materials,
    we can build bigger ones. Send an entire village of married couples on a trip to Mars. Then all the problems are avoided.

    Or send couples, but that in itself might be worse. It is a major issue for projected long flights where you can't just fly back down to Earth out of orbit.
