    elephants still like to bathe, even dive with trunk as snorkel:
    elephants are ex-aquatic,
    semi-aquatic very likely still Pleistocene, possibly even late-Pleistocene: which aquatic foods (herbivory) exactly/mostly? esp. during Pluvials??
