    That probably wasn't very big, not at first, but
    with all the pieces in place -- the environment, the diet --
    they were poised to take up the moment any lucky mutation
    allowed for still larger and/or smarter brains. And with
    free hands to work with and a whole lot of new problem
    solving skills, they were ready to advance...

    One of the "Space guys" on Youtube talked about intelligent
    species. He speculated that the odds for some water worlds
    out there were greater than zero, but even if intelligent arose
    you couldn't imagine them advancing much. I mean, how to
    you make fire when you live under water?

    The point of the story is that having access to the right
    diet, having a bigger, brighter brain is pointless if you're in
    the wrong environment. There would be ZERO selective
    pressures on such a water world being to evolve along
    technological lines...

    Humans did evolve. We exist. We are here. We did evolve in an Aquatic/Littoral/Waterside environment. This definitely happened.
    We know this for a fact because of our dependence on DHA. We
    also know it from "Coastal Dispersal." And we know it because the
    so called "Out of Africa" population in Out of Africa purity was of a
    Eurasian descent: Known from the chromosome 11 insert.

    ...this is also called the "Nuclear Insert" by many sources.

    You don't get it. Human evolution theories are SUPPOSED to explain traits and behaviors that are unique to humans.

    Lotsa species eat DHA, lotsa species walk along the beach, lotsa species take an occasional dip in the water.
