• Does bioluminescence prove life wasn't spawned in darkness?

    From I Envy JTEM@21:1/5 to All on Sun Oct 10 23:39:21 2021
Look, if you pardon the pun: Bioluminescence.

It's a thing. But it's useless without eyes. So it
suggests that life originates where there was
light, where photo sensitive cells are usefull
    AND THEN bioluminescence cropped up.

The research of Titan (if not halted by Catholics) should be interesting, in that regard:

Not as interesting as your trolling!

We are many lifetimes away from getting a look under Titans ice.

    What ice?
You really are intimate with Catholic church. I knew it, lol. Your
diversions on every possible field are noticeable.

    Clearly it's a mystery.

Honey, Titan is so cold that is sports liquid methane. Some sources claim
that it freezes solid -- methane ice -- it's so cold.

It has water, yes, but that freezes solid long before methane gets cold
enough to become a liquid. So, if there's life on Titan it's got to be
below the surface, perhaps where geothermal energy keeps it warm.

That, or it's life that manages with liquid methane (and other goodies)
what life on earth does with water. Seems unlikely to most people, at
least those who aren't sucking on the tail pipe of an old diesel Mercedes.
