Instead of the old antelope-running savanna nonsense, this is modern anthropology:
    - Mio-Pliocene Hominoidea were aquarboreal: bipedally wading-climbing in swamp forests,
    - Lucy was no human ancestor: E.Afr.australopiths belonged to Gorilla, S.Afr.apiths to Pan,
    - early-Pleistocene Homo became shallow divers for shellfish https://www.researchgate.net/publication/323832499_Coastal_Dispersal_of_Pleistocene_Homo

    :-DDD
    This imbecilic answer only confirms:
Pleistocene Homo simply dispersed along sea-coasts & from there along the rivers inland, google "coastal dispersal Pleistocene Homo"
