    Chimps get iodine in the Congo, they aren't marine either.

    Look. If humans are apes because we evolved from an ape, Chimps
    are humans. We're the apes, they're the humans. Because they evolved
    from an upright walking ancestor with a hand more like ours than that
    of a Chimp.

    I'm pretty certain that bipedalism dates back further than gorillas! I
    usually say "May" or "Might" or something but I don't see how it could
    not be the case. Chimps CERTAINLY did, and Gorillas & Chimps adapted
    by much the same way to the forest with their knuckle walking...
