• Did the Chromosome Fusion Happen in Africa or Asia?

    From I Envy JTEM@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jan 23 23:13:32 2022
    Europe?

    WHEN did it happen?

I tend to view it as one of those seminal events,
perhaps even *Defining* events, separating so
called "Modern Man" from all that came before
    him.

    And her.

I honestly don't see a lot on this topic. Does nobody
agree on its significance or have I just been unlucky?

I mean, most of these topics we through around come
to us. We didn't invent Aquatic Ape, we discovered it.

....for me it fit Multi Regionalism/Regional
Continuity like a glove! So as someone who despises
linear models, I instantly took to it...

The chromosome transfusion/inversion in Homo initiated the transfer from arboreal to terrestrial dwelling via bowl nest inversion and limb/digit length inversion, resulting in genetic isolation but not geographic isolation.
