    Hi Sally
Unfortunately I lost access to Usenet more than a year ago, thanks to my
ISP taking the email addresses away from their customers. I'm back now
though and I'm shocked at what has happened to this newsgroup. How
about deleting all the spam (I'm surprised NIN didn't do this) and
starting talking about our poultry again? Perhaps the ex-members will
then return and it will be like it used to be.

    Hi Tina

I haven't seen any spam on this group for a very long time, and I'm with
    NIN.

There's more traffic on the Poultry Keeper Forum on Facebook if you are on Facebook. (And no spam!) I think it was set up as a replacement for the Practical Poultry magazine forum which is no longer.

However, while we're here <g>, have you ever known a buzzard attack a hen?
I found one of my Warrens lying dead a couple of days ago. She was in the
big outside run protected by electric netting, and the others were in or
near the hen house so spooked by something. This was at 5pm. When I removed her I could see a wound in her side. We have a /lot/ of buzzards here but
    I'm slightly mystified.

I've sent you a Facebook friend request, assuming that's you with the
    cat:-)
