• Panel clamps

From Michael@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jan 5 02:56:07 2025
How did I live this long and not see panel clamps?

I was cruising through the for sale ads and saw some of these for sale. I didn't
know what they were and so watched videos about them. They look much better than
the old method of using pipe clamps for the ends and clamps on the top and bottom to keep the piece flat?

Has anyone used them? Are they as good as they look?

Apparently some people think they are good, there are many providers
of this type of clamp, Woodpeckers, Rockler, etc. I have been gluing
up panels since the late 70's, I have never had a need for them.

I've been gluing panels since the 80s. These panel clamps look like they might do the job a lot easier.

Easier or better results. I cannot see how it would be easier.
