    Hi Folks,

I also have a facebook page

    https://www.facebook.com/Brogpix-239050669510536/

Lots of pictures of Weymouth Speed week, Brogborough lake in England where I usually sail. And pictures of a place called Stanborough lakes where I sailed in my youth look them up on Google earth. Stanborough lake is a very small lake in a place called
Welwyn Garden City(Where Nick Faldo the golfer is from) in England. The board I am sailing is a Point Rainbow Samba and the sail is a Gaastra(the yellow one). The first picture(with the Mistral sail) is at a place called Rhoscolyn in North Wales(a very
pretty place) where I first learnt to Windsurf. THe board is what was called a Windjammer 299(a sort of semi custom called a pop-out) as you can see I am picking up some speed. I was about 15 years old in a very windy summer back in about 1986(It was so
windy that summer it ripped apart my parents frame tent). Rhoscolyn is near a place called Rhosneigr a well know Welsh and British wave sailing location( the catch phrase for the place for the shop there in British windsurfing magazines back in the 80's
was "closer to Hawaii"(i.e. it was closer to Hawaii than other parts of Britain(British sense of humour for you))It can get very windy up there (Malin Head in Northern Ireland not too far away is reputedly the windiest place in Europe)In fact the isle of
Tiree another British wave sailing location in the inner Hebrides in Scotland is so windy it only has one tree(between two houses) I heard once.

Take a look at the links on the homepage of my website

    http://www.windsurf-zone.com

on the right side for links to Rhosneigr

    a webcam

    http://www.wirralcam.org/

    and a shop

    http://www.funsportonline.co.uk/

Funsport has been there for years and years and years and changed owners a few times. He also has a cafe and sells and rents houses and flats there also. It's a very pretty part of the world with a magnificent view of the Welsh Snowdonia mountain range.
There a few camp sites there and B&Bs and hotels and so on. THe village is next to an RAF airbase called RAF Valley(in fact it's flat land) where you can see RAF Hawks training sometimes you see other aeroplanes there. I've seen USAF Eagles there to and
sometimes Spitfires and Hurricanes if there is a display going on. Rhosneigr is not far from Holyhead port so you can get to Dublin and Ireland if you like, good for surfing and wavesailing on the west coast of Ireland if you like. A good idea if you are
coming to Britain from abroad (the USA for example) would be to hire a campervan(an motorhome you could call it) and travel up to Rhosneigr(it's a good drive through Snowdonia and Wales on the A5) and stay at a camp site at Rhosneigr(you might get some
wind and waves you never know all year round in Britian(More likely in the winter)) for a while and then get a ferry to Ireland or travel up to Scotland or down to South Wales, Devon or Cornwall. You can't really predict the Weather in Britain sometimes
in the summer it can be calm and sunny for weeks sometimes it can be very windy and stormy.

Anyway take a look at the links.(some of my pages are asp database pages and don't work properly yet I'm still working on them)

All the best. Regards to all the old times Ellen Faller, Roger Jackson, The Dog, Mike Fick, Wouter Doubleare(sp) and all the rest.

    All the best.

    regards,
