What he said. I haven't messed with batten tension for years. Maybe a pain for sail repairs, but a gift for end users.Well, I have a sail/kite repair facility on Margarita Island and have two Northwave sails in my loft awaiting repair and need to remove battens to do the repair so "popping over" to Northwave is not an option. They (battens) are a royal pain in the ass!!!

Well Bob, I've never had to remove the battens, so I couldn'tnever
say whether they have issues or not, but the autobatten system means I
have to deal with batten tension (it's always right) like you might haveto
in an NP.
Looks to me like taking the battens out could be a real pain, so I justpop
over to Northwave when I have issues, and let them deal with it. ;*)
