Hola, bitcholas! This is one my last posts to this dain-bread Usenet
forum before I leave for Germany on Thursday.

I'm driving to Las Vegas tomorrow, staying overnight at a smoke-
filled casino-hotel, fly to Toronto on Thursday, board a night flight on
a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and arrive in Munich about 10:00 Friday,
25 Sep 2015, local time.

This is soooo cool! Though I am of partial German ancestry, I really
do not like Germans, especially after living there for 4 years when
my dad was stationed there in the U.S. Army. But I still love to
travel, and my last Eurotrip was to Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, and
Belgrade back in 2009.

München here I come! Actually, I'll be staying in Garmisch, about an
hour trainride away. Way up in the Bavarian Alps. I'm going to the
Munich Oktoberfest, and if you didn't know, that was where St. Adolf
got his political start. I don't like beer (I'm a marijuana fan,
myself), but I'll drink a liter at Oktoberfest just to brag that I
was there.

I wanted to take a side trip to Rome, but after checking the train
schedules I decided that wasn't gonna happen. So my current
itinerary tries to include Munich, obviously, Innsbruck, Salzburg
(Mozart's birthplace which I visited as a kid), Lichtenstein, and
maybe Zurich if I have enough time. Neuschwanstein, the famous
fairy tale castle.

Maybe, if I can get the Google Usenet app to work, you might hear
from me, but don't expect an update before October 15.
