I think that industry is OVER, maybe forever.
None have the financial resources to withstand
another lockdown (and that may not be the last).
Those ships are EXPENSIVE. Maintaining them
is EXPENSIVE. Without lots of cash coming in,
well, the Love Boat will return a few bucks as
    scrap metal ....

Maybe zeppelins will make a comeback ? :-)

Of course with everybody BROKE because of all
    the lockdowns, 'socialist' mis-management and
infrastructure implosion - who can afford even that ?
Once Biden has bankrupted "the rich" and the industries
they support ... well, NO MORE MONEY. All fall down
go boom .......... and then the revolutions, the barbarism,
    the dark age ..............

Yet keels continue to be laid down. As far as Royal Caribbean is apparently concerned, it's full speed ahead. "There is not a lot of information about
the ship that is available yet since it's still under construction. However, the Wonder of the Seas' move to the outfitting dock marks the first time the ship has been in water, the Orlando Sentinel reported." https://tinyurl.com/yx8mkk7b

I hear some Asian airlines are trying to lure passengers back by offering
cheap flights to nowhere ("point A to point A"), where they'll take off, fly around for 90 minutes for a "scenic" flight, then land back at the same airport:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqjova5JF_U

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0086Rtl-5Y

    Europe too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mUGQ_n1Xyk

Singapore Airlines, however, dropped the "flight" portion and expects people
to board an A380 to "enjoy" a "gourmet" meal while the plane stays on the ground (!): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSwzN8X_Oa4

I wonder if the fine print tells the patrons that they have to undergo 14
    days of quarantine afterwards...

Then RC gets to declare bankrupcy first.

There has been some popularity. I think it is because so
    many have gone stir-crazy.

The Biden lockdowns will dry up their cash reserves however.

Actually, zeps of modern design and materials really could be
a cheaper "cruise-ship substitute". They will not carry thousands
of course - so the companies will charge a lot more for tickets.

Sure, just put up the colored 3-d glasses and read the text
    in a mirror :-)

Talk about modern-day Zeppelins is all the rage,
but none of them ever seem to materialize.

Nice hangar, but where's the airship?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=41yGr6ktaBE

This is a sample of the tripe we'd read about
in our Weekly Readers back in grade school: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dZ2p1DcAl3Y/VqCn-OTdX7I/AAAAAAAAH9c/4EviHhEvNBU/s1600/5534000964_636c8e3021_o.jpg

They could not compete - until NOW.

Luxury zeps, they may indeed have a future.

Assuming the communists leave anybody with
enough spare money for such things.

I can sort of see president Harris in permanent residence
in a luxury zep, high and safe while she persecutes anybody
with an ounce of sense below.
