A Canadian family says they were booted off their Paris-bound
flight over fellow fliers’ fears that their coughing toddler
could have the coronavirus, according to reports.
Emmanuel Faug, wife Clementine Ferraton and their three children
had just boarded their flight in Quebec City on Sunday when
their 21-month-old daughter, Lila, had a coughing fit, reported
The Daily Mail, citing French-language outlet Ouest-France.
The tot’s affliction caught the attention of other passengers
aboard the Air Transat flight, who complained to the crew,
according to the reports.
Ferraton assured a flight attendant that her daughter just had a
common cold and had been medically cleared to fly, but the
attendant balked when the family was unable to produce written
documentation of the diagnosis, the reports said.
A doctor aboard the plane volunteered to examine the child and
also concluded that Lila was fit to fly, but the crew still
wasn’t convinced.
The captain asked Medlink, a company specializing in aviation
medical issues, to weigh in, and was advised to eject the family
from the flight, according to The Mirror.
“After analysing the situation, MedLink determined that the
passenger’s medical condition posed a significant potential risk
to passengers and crew during the flight,” an Air Transat
spokesman told The Mirror.
The statement did not specifically mention coronavirus — which
has infected more than 82,000 people across 50 countries since
its December outbreak in Wuhan, China — but Faug said that the
flight’s chief steward mentioned the “current context,” in what
he read as an allusion to the contagion.
“I think that’s where his fears came from,” Faug told French
outlet TVA Nouvelles, according to The Daily Mail. “I can
understand it in a way, but I found it a bit excessive.
“I feel like I was kicked out of a plane to avoid a scandal.”

Of course they kicked them off the plane; they're gooks. Nobody in
their right mind would ride next to a slope, especially if they have a
pup that's coughing.
The PC thought police want people to see potentially life threatening
close proximity to people who may have SARS, MERS, Ebola, and now
COVID-19 as an irrational phobia, and maybe even racism, white
supremacy, and hate. It's good to see the majority of passengers and
flight attendants listen to their fears and act on them. Fear can save
your life.

Media coverage of "coronavirus" will cease immediately as of 11/4/2020.
It will be as if it never existed.

Is that November 4 or April 11?
Please elucidate your claim that media coverage will cease on a given date.

I think he is saying the day after the US presidential election.
Making the charge that it's just the latest in a long string of
"issues" to bring Trump down.
Russia, Russia, Russia
Stormy, Stormy, Stormy
Mueller, Mueller, Mueller
Wall, wall, wall
Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine
Impeach, Impeach, Impeach
Virus, virus, virus
A hundred other things
This new charge will be the charm
This is the thing that will bring Trump down
Leftists have had hopes and dreams for three plus years
While the job approval rating climbs, and climbs, and climbs
Because Congress is getting nothing done and Trump is.
0bama stumbled into the truth when he said the President has a pen and
a phone.
Please elucidate your claim that media coverage will cease on a given date.
I suspect sooner just because long before the election the virus will
be either gone or a tragedy. If the later, fear mongering will be
behind us and recovery will be the issue.
