I WAS a big Iafrate fan when he came here. But 3 years later with
0 games played I'm a little less than pleased. I know he hurt himself, really bad too. But hey what can I say, with him we could be leading the
division. Without him we may barely make the playoffs. As I recall, his injury was about as bad as Cam's, well Cam only missed 1 season, although
he rushed back. My point, oh yes my point is if you were getting on in
age and getting paid to sit out games would you rush back? Basically if
this keeps up Al can sit on this injury forever. He's still under
contract, I don't know how long, but while injured the B's can't dump him.
No one would trade for him and as long as he says he's still
injured the team is stuck with him. In my opinion, Al is either hurt
probably too much to ever come back, I mean come on 3 years. Or he's got
one hell of an agent squeezing the team dry. Either way I am officially
no longer an Al Iafrate fan. - a lifelong B's fan, Jay

Seems like 22 year ago me was right, he played 12 games for the Bruins 1993-4. Went to the Sharks 3 years later, irony.
