• John Henry: Redefining Chutzpah

From Davey Zimmerman #274@21:1/5 to All on Tue Nov 21 21:05:29 2023
"So realistically what's going to end up happening is I'm going to need
to rent an extended stay hotel room for a month, pay for it up front so
I'm not in a day to day panic, then set up in that room and bust ass
trying to raise funds and find a more stable place to be by the first of
the year. Moving around will require renting a vehicle for at least a
day; that will likely require a deposit of several hundred dollars. I
will need to eat during this next month, and pay bills, and all the usual things."

John uses the "realistically" to project his fantasy of how people should
    be sending him money.

Nothing realistic about supporting himself though.

    "I have a pre-tax booking price for a month at $1400 for a room; I
*believe* there's some kind of city tourism tax involved there, so it's
going to be on the order of 1500-1600 there (state sales tax is 8% I
think; that would be 1520 alone). I'll have to check on deposit
requirements and such for rental cars or vehicles. I'll also check other extended stay hotel type options, but that's probably going to be the
best pricing by a long shot, especially over the holidays, and it's
    likely to go up soon."

Translation: "Pony up now so I can stop begging before the next sef-
    induced crisis"!

"Offhand I'm estimating I need to raise between 2K and 2250 in the next
week, in order to be able to survive the next month. Some of that will
end up being a deposit for a vehicle rental, which will be tied up for a
few days but ultimately come back."

It'll come back to John, fuck sending along a single cent to the person
who supported him for 8 months.

"This goal is absolutely attainable, we've done it before. Last time it
was shorter notice and less time to prepare. This time at least I know
what I'm getting in to and won't waste time and energy on doing it wrong
    and making old mistakes."

Only the tried and true mooching methodology for this grift!

"If we work hard to circulate upcoming fundraising "pitches" (F@#$@! I
hate even thinking on those terms), this can definitely get done. I went through this last year and ended up spending quite a bit more than
necessary because things got to where I was having to pay day by day or a
few days at a time, which doubles the prices or more. That also meant I
was spending my time again in panic mode and not able to put my best mind
to the task of the bigger picture and content creation and proper attention-getting to finally END this nonsense."

Pay up or I'll withhold my recycled content.

"We're STILL heading in the right direction, I'm STILL doing all I can to
keep producing new content and get some kind of solid ground under
myself, and slowly the audience is growing and word's getting out. I
know we can do this. I'll be out tomorrow with some firm numbers - being
able to reserve the room like RIGHT NOW is super important, and like I
said that's gonna be 1600 or so. We'll get that together, and check
    vehicle rental pricing, tomorrow."

So basically a Lyft driver with a car or someone off Craigs List. The
whole "rental" BS is to drive up the ask.

"I'm going to talk with my roommate about leaving some stuff here in her
shed or basement for a couple of months possibly, so I don't have to rent
a truck to move it all."

Holy fuck, this entitled mooch thinks leaving some stuff there is OK? I
guess the idea is to try to move back in later. No self-awareness at all.

"I really don't need to carry everything with me - a couple of bins,
computer, guitar. Also means I can fit it in a car, in one trip."

Pay someone with a van 100 bucks and you're done.

"I notice one of my patrons upgraded recently from 5 to 50/month, thanks
M! For those of you who are paying attention, that's getting close to $200/month in scheduled recurring income right now, which is about a
fifth of what i need to be minimally stable, plus possibly some
additional transient costs like deposits for utilities or internet
service. So *at this moment* I'm sitting on a couple hundred bucks, give
or take, I have schedules outgoing bills around 80 between now and the
3rd - MS, Adobe, autoposter. Hosting is coming around again in early
January, that was 20 a quarter if I remember right. Etc.
That's where we're at, I'll have more tomorrow (hopefully MUCH more!)"

    What an entitled scumbag.

I love the way he calls his dying benefactor, “my roommate”. She’s not your
roommate, you blubbering ingrate - she’s your landlord! No matter that you haven’t paid her a dime in rent or even contributed to a single meal, a
lift to her chemo treatments and likely never lifted a finger to mow the
lawn or perform any maintenance - she owns the house that you’ve been mooching off for the past year. You’re not her equal - you’re her parasite!

I wonder how many Facebook comments have been deleted suggesting the novel concept of getting a job or doing one single days honest work in return for
the salvation he expects everyone else to provide?

Keep the updates coming - this nutters delusion has grown to truly global levels of entitlement and obliviousness…

the past year. You’re not her equal - you’re her parasite!

She's really no more than another host for that parasite. At least Beth
Aultman got a gofundme for wasting money on that creep. Whether she saw
    a cent is another matter.

John's just trying to look ethical before he trashes her. All she wants
is one last Xmas without a parasite living off of her. Instead John
wants to leave reminders and stake a claim to what little she does have
    after she kicks off.

I wonder how many Facebook comments have been deleted suggesting the
novel concept of getting a job or doing one single days honest work in
return for the salvation he expects everyone else to provide?

That's easy, the Facebook posts list the number of comments made. If you
see 15 comments listed but only 4 are posted? John likely removed (or
blocked) 11 of them. Of course he does tend to edit and delete his own
posts and you won't see those.

Keep the updates coming - this nutters delusion has grown to truly
global levels of entitlement and obliviousness…

I predict this last week will be absolutely batshit. He's done nothing
but recycle memes, repost old rants and more of his standard pathetic
begging for the last seven months he's mooched there. Yet he expects
others to do his legwork and beg for him.

He's off to a good start today. It's almost 4:40pm in Michigan and not a
single sign of any old content, other people's memes or begging. He must
really want to be on the streets.

Since he supposedly got 1K off someone in RSPW last February or so, I'm
shocked he's not begging here. He doesn't really last long on any forum
where he can't censor or control the conversation. So if he shows, be
    quick.

I'll leave you with John's legacy and future as predicted by a wizard
    calling himself Beefaroni Tits: https://www.facebook.com/sendmoneytobeefy/videos/874628163992805

    Cats and coffee warning.

PS: Laz Mann needs to return and provide a running commentary.
