One thing about the United States, when we fight a war, we -- USUALLY -- stop it and move on.
We're not at war with Germany anymore.
We're not at war with Japan anymore.
We split up Korea and, well, we're not SHOOTING at North Korea anymore. (we ARE technically still at war with them though)
We're not a war with Vietnam anymore.
In the FIRST Gulf War we chased Saddam out of Kuwait and that was it.
The one place we fucked up is when GWB wanting to be the tough guy in the Family, started a 20-year with Iraq because of a bullshit document stating Saddam had yellowcake. (BTW, did we EVER find that stuff??)
