Expanding the storefront to include more options for targeted support,
i.e. you make a contribution for a specific purpose rather than just for "whatever I feel the need to spend money on." I know some folks like to
have a little control or express the intent of their contributions, so
I'm trying to make that easier and more attractive. There'll be several
more sections with at least a couple of dozen items listed including software, addons and plugins for my website, and physical items ranging
from "a new webcam" to musical instruments, editing equipment, and
everything else I need after decades of being destitute and too
embarrassed and poverty-shamed to dare ask for more than straight up
survival needs.
Here's a link to the software section, which will also
have additional items added over time. (Some things, like BorisFX,
there's no sense in putting up there until I get my computer replaced,
since right now this box doesn't have the cojones to even run it.)"
It's all going to get used any way this grifter sees fit.

Hey y'all.
135K people have engaged with my work in the last week and a half. It's
been seen by 830,000. I need food,
shoes,
pain relief,
software, to
upgrade my computer that's quickly getting to the point of not running
at all.
Secure housing that doesn't rely on someone else's charity.
Transportation. The list goes on. Why? To keep fighting the machine.
To continue calling out bad actors in our band of the spectrum. Not to mention to do all of the things I haven't been doing like...enjoying my
life, making music, maybe doing some gaming
(which could also be
monetized). Thank you. There are links to my site, linktree, and
several contribution options in the "Websites" section of this page. If
you can't swing it, please at least share this post and maybe someone
will see it who can. Sorry the message is so stark,
I have some
environmental issues today that are preventing me from doing live or recording audio and I've had about three hours of sleep.
Also I think
living in a world where honestly asking for support is considered a scam
but blowing smoke up your butt to appeal to your biases is considered authentic really sucks. I appreciate your support, your patience, and
your understanding. Thanks and much love, -JH"

Please please please help this get around and help if you can, ya know
the algo's gonna stomp it because it's about fundraising. This living
on five-ten-twenty bucks at a time thing has just about completely
broken me at this point. You really can't imagine how much additional
crap, wasted time, and lost work effectiveness due to stress and anxiety
I've been living with for the last fifteen years or so. And even as I
say that...I don't want your pity, man. I love you and appreciate the empathy, it's not that, it's that I was never trying to be JH the cyberbeggar. I do damn good work, and if I can get solid support under
me I can do a whole lot more of it, a whole lot more effectively.
Thanks."

You want to donate to something worthwhile?
Here you go!
https://ofsds.org/donate/
Why donate to Old Friends?
Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary is almost completely funded by private donations. Our primary goals are to provide lifetime high-quality care
to and find placements for otherwise “unadoptable” dogs, therefore, we
do not charge an adoption fee or any other fees to help to cover our expenses. All the dogs who come into our program are fully vetted prior
to living at the sanctuary or being placed in a forever foster home. We ensure that the dogs at the sanctuary and those in forever foster homes
get their monthly preventatives, required vetting, and any other special needs that they may have. One-time, recurring, tribute, and dog
sponsorship donations are made through NEONcrm.
Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3), IRS recognized,
nonprofit organization. All of your donations are tax deductible. Our
EIN is 45-5084188.

Those were funny. He kept trying to frame Omar as being disingenuous
when in fact he was openly contemptuous of John. It was pretty blatant mockery.

A: Software subscriptions, hosting fees, and fizzy drinks
B: Electricity, natural gas, rent, shoes, and food

Boris FX Suite is $175 per month. Why is this necessary?

This escalated from "I want Windows 11" and "I got a BSOD" to "it's
almost unusable" pretty quickly. What's wrong with it besides the fact
that it won't run Cities Skylines 2?

It's actually pretty murky. Lots of unanswered questions.

This sounds similar to the complaints he made against his prior
housemates. He is turning against his host, isn't he? Or is it his
host who's had enough?

I'd bet money Mona is a kind person who thought she was giving an old
friend a place to regroup and get back on his feet. She is most likely
now realizing she got an annoying man-baby dependent who ain't going
to launch. You know he had all kinds of busy explanations about how
all he needed was this one tiny thing and then all the big stuff would
just line up and BOOM. I seriously hope she doesn't die under his
stress. I hope she boots him and can die in peace.
