I've never had a BSOD on any Windows computer I've had in the last 20
years. Scoping out those porn sites filled with malware will fuck JOHN
HENRY DEJONG over every time.
"Box is back up but wants to run a bunch of updates. Rawrg. I was
cookin, too. Fortunately some of the work I'd done was hunt-and-peck
time that I won't have to repeat, but it's still gonna be some lost
hours. So frustrating, y'all. Being broke is so expensive. But *deep
breath* it's okay, I'm gonna get this done and get things rolling here
and things will get better quickly. The delays right now are almost all
on me in terms of not seeing much by way of fundraising; I'm just not publishing that much work and that's gonna have an impact. The payoff is
that having done all that work in "the back" now, it's done (ish, it'll continue evolving) and will start paying dividends in organization and production efficiency. Getting a @$%@@^(@1 BSOD in the middle of doing
the work I need to do in order to make that happen is a pretty good fml moment though. I turn 53 in 8 days, maybe I'll get a huge birthday gift
out of nowhere. Stranger things have happened"
JOHN HENRY DEJONG will waste every cent you send him. Send money to: https://ofsds.org/donate/ instead.

Time to put this insane theory to rest. Crazily, nearly half of that
was spent paying back rent.
That particular fund raising drive began prior to his soft eviction,
and despite any irrational claims to the contrary, he made a real
effort to get a substantial chunk of what he owed paid.
Another portion was used to take care of bills for hosting
and tools, which considering his livelihood isn't such a screwy idea.
He then made a mad dash to rent a U-Haul to move his stuff, which left
in an unstable situation with just enough to cover a hotel bill and
food for a few weeks.
