• "the moment"

From Taro Tsujimoto@21:1/5 to All on Sat Jul 29 20:51:17 2023
I'm tellin' y'all, this is "the moment." These next four weeks are going to
be as important as any I've been through in the last twenty years at least. There'll be lots more posting and images and videos about it over the next couple of weeks, but everything is coming together right now and it's absolutely grand. These looks and peeks inside the engine are fun and all,
but you're gonna LOVE how she rides when we get up to speed.

Thank you. This is where it gets good. It'snot "coming," it's not a vague
plan for "real soon," it's here, it's now, it started two hours ago when I
hit "go" on that livestream. You can help, now's the time to help if you've
got it - I'll put the funding links in the comments. If you can't swing it or even if you aren't inclined to even though you like some of my stuff, what
you definitely CAN do is ENGAGE. This new program from Facebook could mean a very serious shot in the arm funding-wise, too, but I suspect it's going to take a tectonic-sized blast of engagement to come anywhere near the $30 threshold.

    So let's do it.

Love y'all, I'll pop back on a bit later for at least a short bit, and you
can expect to see me live for extended periods multiple times daily for at least the next few days. Basically, it's a PBS telethon but not for PBS. If I managed to hit that $30K threshold AND raise about $50K in the next month or
so that would be far beyond amazing and I would definitely be stepping up a whole bunch of notches real fast.

Is this going to be anything like the Jeep you mooched and ran into the
    ground? I suspect so.

So nice to see he's come down from the 500k he wanted! But how does JOHN
HENRY DEJONG plan to get that type of engagement? He blocks and censors
just about everyone. I think "engage" is doing a lot of heavy lifting
here, sycophants can only go so far and they don't seem to last long?

    "John Henry
NB: I just checked, that freebie from Restream is over on the 3rd. It
would be SUPER cool if I could raise enough between now and then to keep
it rolling and get a few other tools online!"

He hasn't even gotten enough to spam his begging on multiple platforms
as yet. I predict a sockpuppet show.

    So let's do it.

Too late, I'm already laughing. But I suspect a payment from FarceTw*t
will be a long time coming. The sheep heed a shearing and JOHN HENRY
    DEJONG has the clippers!

What happens when he only gets a grand total of 50 bucks? I've seen how
happy JOHN HENRY DEJONG gets over 20 bucks, I'll spare him the overload
of mooching joy and not send any money instead.

"Somewhere out there are people who have been looking for me for a very
long time. Let's go find them." Notorious deadbeat JOHN HENRY DEJONG
on his creditors, former landlords and child support payments.

    Possible outcomes?

    A. John consistently generates high-quality content over the entire bonus period.
His followers dutifully share it and engagement hits new highs. John not only claims the full $30,000 bonus but also receives an additional $50,000 in audience
contributions. He ascends to new heights of popularity and becomes a titan in the
screedwriting industry, crushing Matt Desmond, the Riverx brothers, Brooklyn Dad,
JoJo from Jersey, and every other fake liberal who conspired to keep him down.

    B. John makes a few videos but doesn't get enough donations to pay for software subscriptions. He threatens suicide, makes unhinged videos, then publicly quits.
After a few days of being forced to drink water, he returns to the grind. This repeats every week until the bonus period is over. He pockets a cool $60 which he
promptly forks over to Adobe Inc.

    C. John creates a lot of content but only makes enough money from the bonus program + donations to put a used RTX 4080 on layaway and buy ten cream sodas. Realizing how much actual work goes into being successful at online grifting, he
conjures a new excuse to blame his failure on and spends most of his energy pointing to the latest scapegoat as a way to keep donations coming while toning down the effort level.

    D. John makes enough from the bonus program to pay for a 3D printed slingshot and
rickshaw tickets. He heads to Salt Lake City to dole out revenge but is converted
to fundamentalist LDS en route. He renounces violence, takes a few dozen sister wives from the nearest junior high and retires to the wilderness to generate important content using scrolls and quills.
