April 1963-December 1992

This month marks the 60th anniversary of the top prize in all of WWE; the WWE Championship. Since its establishment there have been 54 (56*) individual champions spanning nearly 150 reigns; and in those 60 years we've seen some of the best of the best
hold the championship (with some exceptions). Over the next 2 weeks I'm gonna be covering the entire history of the championship; starting this weeks with the 1st 30 years of the championship. From Capitol Wrestling breaking away from the NWA & forming
their own stand alone promotion the WWWF to them creating their own stand alone World Championship to be held by their recognized champion Buddy Rogers through the long reigns of Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, & many others.
This part covers the history of the WWE Championship from its creation in April 1963 (with some backstory to the start of that year) all the way to December 1992 with Bret Hart carrying the torch for the New Generation in the World Wrestling Federation.
