I hadn't thought of that. What an insult that would have been. Guess
I'll go but some weed instead.

Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary is a Forever Foster Home based
Sanctuary in beautiful Mount Juliet, Tennessee, generally housing
approximately 120 senior dogs at the Sanctuary and others in temporary
and Forever Foster Homes. While providing lifetime homes for senior
dogs, OFSDS strives to raise awareness of the joys and challenges of
living with older dogs. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization.

We do not concern ourselves with the quantity of time that they have
left, rather the quality of the life that we can provide them for that
    time.

    ABOUT OFSDS
Providing Lifetime Homes & Care to Senior Dogs
Senior dogs, especially those with medical problems or disabilities,
face a much greater chance of euthanasia at shelters than younger dogs
because it is difficult to find adopters for them due to their shorter additional life expectancy and unknown veterinary costs. Most of these wonderful senior dogs are able to live happily with a good quality of
life if given a chance. They make wonderful companions because they are
mature, calm, and loving. It can be more difficult for them to settle in
and, once they do, it is difficult for them to move again. For this
reason we strive to find them forever foster homes where they can live
out their retirement years as a beloved family member. Even once they’ve
found their forever homes, we commit to providing them high-quality vet
    care for life.

What a fantastic cause. I just donated $100 after being moved by your
humble description of the work they do.

They should like a genuinely philanthropic, selfless and appreciative
bunch, and I mean - what else was I going to do with the money?

The description is from their site. Wonderful people and their kindness
shines through. It's caring for the vulnerable rather than seeing them
as a resource to be exploited for an ego trip that really makes a
    difference in the world.

If only the grifting scumbags of the world like John Henry and
Chadweasel could be capable of seeing this, the world would be a much
    better place.

They should like a genuinely philanthropic, selfless and appreciative
bunch, and I mean - what else was I going to do with the money?

Thanks, it's one of causes that only the most souless sociopaths and
narcisists would willingly choose to not donate towards.

When you see some assholes trying to get the marks to donate money to
strippers they're trying to bone or to help out people they've already
scammed like Beth Aultman, I am stunned that there's so many legitimate
places like this 501(c) charity that get overlooked.

Thanks again for actually making a difference.
