Does he still have any rights as a tenant? Any lawyers here?

Faulty premise. Getting out of that toxic dump was a huge relief
for John in spite of the circumstances. Why would he want to return?
Your implication is that he's made some sort of disastrous mistake
in moving out. JH makes mistakes, but he owns up to them. Most
of his mistakes have to do with him being too generous, or too
polite, or taking people at their word and not being cynical enough.

Moving to the hotel wasn't a mistake on his part, it was a deliberate
action in the battle against both forces and circumstances that have
aligned against him for a long time, and after he sorts out his
connection woes (which he may just have to fight the hotel owners
about - and if that happens, I pity them; JH swings the hammer that
beats the machines that hurt the people) he's going to make it work.

More likely it's about fucking up any job he manages to get, trashing
people after they stop sending him money or simply being a deadbeat.

How much back child support does John owe? College loans? Rent money?

    Too easy.

He had no other choice but John is going to be on the streets or moving
in with a moochee soon enough. How bad is it when his own family,
including his daughter, wants nothing to do with him?

With over 2K owed to the landlord and moving out voluntarily, I don't think that's happening. The landlord would likely ask for the back rent first.

So basically John has the right to fuck right off.

Why would he want to move back to where he was before now?
Doesn't he want and enjoy the life of a mentally disturbed homeless person looking like someone who claims to be a time traveler but has no proof?

Agreed. ‘Moving back’ is not John’s motivation - not least since it would entail making good on a substantial amount of rental back pay which he has
no intention of squaring up, yet again.

‘Getting back’ at Beth Aultman’ for her cruel selfishness in contracting leukaemia and disabling his virtual ATM machine is John DeJong’s rightful priority at present.

    Send money, Beth.
