that have been percolating. I see Alex Cain has returned, and since
he's the supreme expert I wonder if he might chime in as well:
1. Why didn't he do any research about the quality of the hotel before
moving in? He seems to be an internet addict who stays on the computer
all day long. Many of the reviews for that hotel state that it has
shitty wifi. I don't understand how he missed that if internet access
was essential.
(a) Is that hotel really a former homeless shelter? One of the reviews
said something about that.
(b) Why did he pick a regular motel and not a residential hotel?
2. Why did he agree to leave his old room? If as you've said he has
evictions on record already and can't pass a background check, why
didn't he just stay!? In one of his videos posted here he said
something about the landlord forgiving his owed rent being the impetus
but if he had to spend the same amount of money to rent trucks and set
up in a motel for a week then how does that make sense? In the time it
took to process a formal eviction he could have landed a job, fund
raised more, found someone to move in with...
3. Why is he staying in Michigan where it's cold and there are no
welfare resources? If he's burned all bridges with family and does not
have a single friend who would put him up for a week, what exactly is
it that keeps him there? Shouldn't he move somewhere warm at least?
4. Does he have a drug problem? I don't see any obvious indications
from his videos but I'm not an expert.
5. Based on your current understanding of his situation, do you think

He seems to be an internet addict who stays on the computer all day long. Many of
the reviews for that hotel state that it has shitty wifi. I don't understand how
he missed that if internet access was essential.
(a) Is that hotel really a former homeless shelter? One of the reviews said something about that.
(b) Why did he pick a regular motel and not a residential hotel?
2. Why did he agree to leave his old room? If as you've said he has evictions on
record already and can't pass a background check, why didn't he just stay!? In
one of his videos posted here he said something about the landlord forgiving his
owed rent being the impetus but if he had to spend the same amount of money to
rent trucks and set up in a motel for a week then how does that make sense? In
the time it took to process a formal eviction he could have landed a job, fund
raised more, found someone to move in with...
3. Why is he staying in Michigan where it's cold and there are no welfare resources? If he's burned all bridges with family and does not have a single friend who would put him up for a week, what exactly is it that keeps him there?
Shouldn't he move somewhere warm at least?
4. Does he have a drug problem? I don't see any obvious indications from his videos but I'm not an expert.
5. Based on your current understanding of his situation, do you think he will survive this current setback?
